1. A professional tool
ClearView Pro helps accountants, bookkeepers and finance professionals with management reporting, analysis and presentation. It does not give an audit opinion, assurance conclusion, regulated investment recommendation, legal opinion or tax ruling, and its reports are not statutory accounts.
2. Source data matters
Reports depend on the completeness and accuracy of the imported data, the periods chosen, account mappings, classifications, settings and assumptions you enter. Incorrect or incomplete source information can produce incorrect or misleading reports.
3. Mapping and classification
Automatic suggestions and review markers help the workflow. You remain responsible for checking account classifications, VAT rates, cost behaviour and any other mapping that affects a client's reports.
4. Forecasts, scenarios and benchmarks
Forecasts, budgets, scenarios, covenants and industry benchmarks are analytical tools, not predictions or guarantees. The industry benchmarks are ClearView Pro's indicative defaults, not published statistics; you can replace them with your own.
5. Tax and VAT
The VAT Return page is an estimate from the ledger, to help professional review. Check rates, periods, schemes, source transactions and filing requirements against current law, HMRC guidance and the client's facts before relying on it.
6. Review before you issue
Before a report goes to a client, lender, director or anyone else, a competent person should review the source data, mapping, calculations, commentary and presentation for its purpose.
7. Your statutory rights
Nothing on this page limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. The Licence Agreement sets out our promise about the software and our liability.
