Last updated: 17 September 2026
1. Professional tool
ClearView Pro is designed to assist accountants, bookkeepers and finance professionals with management reporting, analysis and presentation. It does not itself provide an audit opinion, assurance conclusion, regulated investment recommendation, legal opinion or tax ruling.
2. Source data matters
Outputs depend on the completeness and accuracy of imported accounting data, reporting periods, account mappings, classifications, settings and user-entered assumptions. Incorrect or incomplete source information can produce incorrect or misleading reports.
3. Mapping and classification
Automatic suggestions and review indicators are workflow aids. The user remains responsible for checking account classifications, VAT treatment, cost behaviour and any other mapping that affects the reports prepared for a client.
4. Forecasts, scenarios and benchmarks
Forecasts, budgets, scenarios, covenants and industry benchmarks are analytical tools. They are not predictions or guarantees of future performance and should be assessed against the circumstances of the particular client or engagement.
5. Tax and VAT
VAT and tax-related outputs are intended to assist professional review. Users should verify applicable rates, periods, schemes, source transactions and filing requirements against current law, HMRC guidance and the client's facts before relying on an output for compliance purposes.
6. Final review
Before reports are issued to a client, lender, director or other third party, an appropriately competent person should review the source data, mapping, calculations, narrative and presentation for the intended purpose.
